No Se Tu (by Luis Miguel)...how does this make sense

Question

I have a song on my ipod that I reallyyy like: No Sé Tú by Luis Miguel...I understand almost all the lyrics, except for the "no sé tú" part....I understood that you were supposed to use "conocer" when talking about people and places and such. Can anybody help me on this?? Thanks in advance

and yes "i don't know you" makes sense...but then it ought to be "no te conozco"
