Ya hemos llegado tan lejos

We've already got so far, We've already gotten this far.... there's no way to say this, with any verb but tan really, ........is there? Gracias.

Mmm, the phrase I said is used to mean something like: Unfortunately, we can't continue (for any reason), we had already got so far.

If this isn't what you mean your sentence in present is perfect.

That sounds ok to me but maybe I would need more context to see if it is correct.

We usually use to say: Y ya habíamos llegado tan lejos, which I think that means "We had already got so far".

Seems to me "tan" is the best, the other options just don't fit , especially if your thinking about a line in a song!

But I don't mean it in past tense. Like "We already got this far, no point in turning back" or "We've already gotten this far, now why should we just stop and let it all go?"
