Does "aldilla" in Latin Spanish mean "squirrel" in English?

Some people , here in Spain too, pronounce the l like an r...very weird, often heard with gypsies.

The other way round is really unusual.

This might be a typo: ardilla

Because of my interest in Japanese (and to a much lesser extent in Chinese), I have have always found this phenomenon to be interesting. Because of my interest in Flamenco (especially songs) I have often heard the "substitution" that Heidita refers to. In fact, I have heard it so often that it no longer surprises me (although the phonemic coincidence with Japanese/Chinese [despite being completely unrelated languages] still strikes me as "interesting").
