Help with a Cervantes quote?

Below is a quote by Cervantes. The Translation app was clumsy. The best I can do is: "No science, in as much as science, deceives; the deceit is in what is not known." I'm hoping y'all can help in making a translation that makes more sense and retains some of Cervantes' style.

"Niguna ciencia, en cuanto a ciencia, engaña; el engaño está en quien no sabe."

The literal translations looks good up until the end where it seems to have missed "quien".

Science in itself is not deceptive, the deception lies with who doesn't understand it.

I believe the quote is talking about misinterpretations of facts. The facts aren't in error, but the interpretation of their meaning might be.
