Ocio is leisure... Tiempo libre can mean ocio, but it can also mean free time.

Nope, you have to say "tiempo libre", ocio means leisure, and you don't say "leisure time" in English don't you?.

Yes, we do say leisure time. - Leatha, Feb 26, 2011
It is very common to say "leisure time" in English. - NancyGrace, Feb 26, 2011
Yes, I have heard liesure time on many occasions. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leisure (do you?; not don't you? in that context) - 0074b507, Feb 26, 2011
I probably wouldn't say "leisure time" per se, and I don't think I really hear it that often. I'd probably say "time for leisure" - mayodude, Feb 26, 2011
It varies by person, leisure time is not strange to hear or to say. - amykay, Feb 26, 2011

Ocio means "leisure"; more like "spare time" to spend as you wish.

Libre can mean "unoccupied, untaxed, unburdened by rules or laws"; or not a prisoner of anything or anyone.

Ella nadaba en su tiempo ocio.

El prisionero está libre ahora.
