"ser/estar" in a sentence?

for example:

She is old, sick and sad. Ella es anciana. Ella está enferma. Ella está triste.

My translation is: Ella es anciana, enferma y triste.

Is it true? Is there any rule/method about this case ?

for example: She/He is old, happy, rich and tired.

Take a look at this.

I would say :Ella es anciana y está enferma y triste.

I don't think that "una anciana" is ok because he is describing her condition in general. - Dakie, Feb 26, 2011
