Usually we think of a sales call (in english) to mean a face to face visit, and not a phone call.

"Llamada de ventas" would be by phone.

"Visita médica" for the pharmaceutical sales.

"Promoción de ventas" for other "sales visits".

In the marketing language, it can also be called: "visita de ventas" o "marketing uno a uno" (consider that the word marketing is used in spanish in technical language).

"promocion de ventas" does not sound quite right

at least where i live here in southwest central mexico

because "promocion de ventas" means "sales promotion"

anyway, that is close, still not the same thing as "sales call"

(the old-fashioned one-on-one business-to-business "sales call")

"visita de representacion" strikes me as being pretty much on target
