If you come straight out and ask for light beer (cerveza clara), you will be requesting a clear one, as opposed to a dark beer, I believe... I know some bars are familiar with the "lite" appellation, but it might help to be more specific: cerveza de caloría baja. wink

So, ¿Qué clases tiene Ud.? + the above description....

"¿Que tipo de cerveza lite tienen?" The term "lite" has become universal it seems. If you go to the supermarket here in México, you will find "lite" labeling.

One could ask for a "chela ligera" ! very colloquial.
