There once was a gent called Ray
Who lived in the land down under.
He came to the Forum one day
And started to tease and to play.
Some say that he's helpful yet reckless and wild
But others think he's sweet and mild.
Well, be as may be , I think all will agree
That he's witty and a joy to have here,
and his tales bring us joy and wonder!
So upon reaching this mark, this brilliant milestone
I'm inclined to salute, and to cheer, and to run
in order to get to that time zone.
And I am joining the celebrations
By sending him this six-pack;
While some may find it salacious
I don't think Ray will send it back.
And I trust my dear friends
You won't judge me ostentations,
For wanting to light
a small fireworks display.
**When I first read all the congratulatory posts I was extremely humbled ,
having worked for 12 months with you guys could have made me immune to
such emotions ,for you have always made known that you are all a
caring warm hearted and generous bunch of loving souls.
But I am deeply touched , and for once in my life I have no words to adequately
describe just how moved and teary I am by each and every one of you.
When I think back to the first two weeks on SD , I found it so difficult , I could
not post or type ,nor even understand what it was all about ,and when I saw that
a member had just made 10 K , I thought "that is it " that is an impossible dream ,
" A bridge too far" , I am out of here. I wrote to Heidi and told her of my fears,
saying ,I will have to quit, She wrote back immediately and persuaded me to
carry on , that I had much to contribute. Now here I am desperately searching
for the strongest and most descriptive adjectives to say how much I love you
all , and to tell you that the last 12 months have been possibly the happiest of
my long life , I should now quip ," how sad is that" , but I am not in quipping
mood ,I am deliriously happy, over the moon and immeasureably humbled.
I sincerely hope that over the next year I can continue with the standard that
you expect of all our members , and may even attempt a sentence or three
in Spanish . Be Well And Happy , and free from suffering.

that Ray 76 , be made the Royal Consort.
Oh Queen of my desire reigning,
How oft hereafter shall she rule,
With me as consort trembling thus,
Kingly duties may be for this old bod,
A chalice to drink from but once ,and
Then confined to less challenging posts,
More in keeping with my ancient form.
And being thus deposed in haste ,
May break this heart filled yet still,
With love for my Queen ,but come,
My time is nigh ,I am summoned.
Into the Royal chamber wheeled ,
My Kingly duties to perform,
With tablets blue and oysters
By the score consumed.
We shall be as Tristan and Isolde,
