Another preterite in the past question.

These preterites in the past do not look look right to me. Correct me if I am wrong but here goes:
Algunas personas buscaron información sobre viajes, otras confirmaron y pagaron sus pasajes.
Too many "arons"?

In this case what you´re using is the parallel structure:
"Some people looked for information about the trip, some others confirmed and payed their tickets."
Therefore the sentence is grammatically correct even though you might think there are too many "arons".
