I understand and appreciate that you are using colloquial expressions but they need to still be fairly grammatically accurate.

'What's' is the abbreviation for what is but it is not good English to say: What is you doing but What are you doing? ' If by the expression What are you doing? you really mean How are you doing? ¿íQué tal? is the closest I can think of It means How are things? and is colloquial. If you literally mean what are you doing? it would be better translated as ¿Qué haces?

I think the whole sentence would go something like:

íeh! ¿íQué tal? ¿Cómo has estado? Te extraño.¿Puedes mandarme ( o enviarme) un foto de ti?

Instead of te extraño you can say: te echo de menos which, I believe is more common in Spain whereas te extraño is more common in South America eg Peru
