Formal "you" in common situations

Formal "you" in common situations

I tutor an older Latina woman (60s) and try to use the formal "you" with her even though we are quite familiar with one another. Am I correct then in saying something like: Me gusta ayudarla? La llevo a la biblioteca para tutorar?

Gracias!

Yes, those are correct so far as I can tell. La is usted's direct object form when addressing a woman. Le is the indirect object form. She will have no trouble interpreting it as "you."
