Book for beginners in spanish?

I would like to start reading a book in spanish. Since i'm a beginner and my vocabulary is still very poor, i have no idea which would be the best choice for me. If someone could give me advice on this, i would be very happy and thankful.

Hi, Welcome to the forum!

It would help if you explained what you have been reading, so your reading level is better understood. Have you been reading online newspapers? There are some online magazines in this site's "reference" section (on the menu, "more / reference".

There are plenty of beginner´s readers out there. You can do a search on Amazon or similar site.

Hi, thanks for your advice. Actually i wanted to have something to read on my way to work in the subway. In any case i would take a look at those online magazines. ))
