Please confirm attendance! Skype Chat for Learners of English: House-husband - Stay-at-home dad
We recently hosted a chat for advanced learners of Spanish and I was very lucky to get 6 native Spanish speakers on board so that the Spanish learners had the priviledge to hear all kind of different accents
Our Topic of the day: House-husband - Stay-at-home dad
So, let's think of the following :
Would you like to be that rather than go out to work?
Would any man in your country consider being a house-husband?
Does your culture accept this idea?
What advantages can you think of being a house husband?
Thanks a lot for joining in ...so many of you!!
I would like to keep this at an intermediate level so that everybody can understand and participate, even beginners like Lukax.
I hope I will get a lot of people to join this chat, especially lots of different English accents As you can see, there will be three hosts on the chat, from three continents!!
This will be known as the four continent chat!!
For non-native English speakers: Please prepare like a 2 -3 minute opinion about the topic. Be prepared to answer questions If you have no personal experience, tell us about the culture or custom in your country.

Don't be surprised when everyone says that I have the best accent.
Jejejeje.
I'll be there!! although the "completely in English" part frightens me a bit.
These chats are really helping me a lot. I hope to hear many different accents there!!
I'll be there .
Wow, I think my time zone has already put me out of contention (just woke up!) but if there is room - ¡sí, por favor!
If there's any space left I'd love to join you.

Welcome all you English learners to this exciting new Saturday chat.
I shall be a co -host which may give you an opportunity to hear English
spoken from three continents , and will extend your vocabulary ,and also
allow you to learn colloquial terms and idioms with a colorful Australian
inflection . We have a lot of fun on the chat , it is a relaxed and friendly way
of learning in a kind of family atmosphere . Put your names down quickly
and if you have not been on before then please send your skype name
to Heidi so that she can add you to the group chat.Looking forward to a great chat.

I'm prepared and ready!!
Wow, thanks for the great response to help our non native English speaking friends Me among them of course
jeje
As a matter of fact, I found the advanced chat we had the other day fascinating, and I also enjoyed Gary's chat the other day, due to the fact that there were some newbies there... I just love hearing different accents from all over the world, the more difficult to understand the better.
So far, we are far too many, however, there is always the last minute drop out and I am still expecting some answers from non natives I have mailed.
Jenny won't be able to be there the whole night and neither will Jason...so we can add somebody else later on, if you don't mind being added later.
Anyway, I will add the topic tomorrow, so stay tuned, the English speaking natives can relax this time, jeje, you don't have to prepare anything.
Heidi!!!!!
