What does "tal.......que....." mean in English?

I am confused with tanto......que...... ; tan..... que...... and tal .......que......

Do they mean the same?

I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for, perhaps giving us some examples would help but here's a couple of examples using 'tanto', 'tal' and 'que' that you might find useful.

tan/tanto … que = so … (that);

Tal que = such that or given that

Con tal (de) que is used with the subj: to mean 'as long as'.

I felt such sadness that I fled.
Sentía tal tristeza que huí.

I saw such devastation that I cried.
Vi tal devastación que lloré.

I was in such pain that I couldn't sleep.
Tenía tal dolor que no pude dormir.
