My first question, are those two sentences mean the same? The first comes from my book , I made the second one.

My second question, tan.......que...... , does it mean " too........too ...... "in English?

Are 'these' two sentences .....The first 'comes' or 'came' from my book. Yours is not incorrect here but it is common to say - 'I made the second one up' :) - Kiwi-Girl, Feb 19, 2011

My parents were so busy that they scarcely (hardly ever) came to see me. But each time they saw me, they said that I was healthy and strong.
