I don't really have a given context. Sorry I was just given a list to look up and I couldn't find any entries for this phrase anywhere in other dictionaries or web pages, i didn't know what else to do. - Christi-Anna, Feb 22, 2011

Some more context would be good - if it's referring to a person perhaps it could mean 'don't be a play thing'? but this could be way off :(

We definitely need more context, but 'To not be a plaything' comes to mind....

I think the correct phrase should be: "No es cosa de juegos". Y en inglés significa:

This is not a game

We are not playing (kidding)

"This (thing) is not a game" comes to mind as I cannot find anything better!

Para contexto: "Quiero ser un oso actual, no ser cosa de juegos."

For context: "I want to be a real bear, not to be a plaything."

Loved it:) - Silvia, Feb 19, 2011
Quiero ser un oso "de verdad", ¡no bromeo! "No es cosa de juegos" is way too formal for the teddy bear to say ;-) - gone, Feb 19, 2011
