It sounds as if you know how to use direct object pronouns, but can not quickly produce sentences using direct object pronouns while in conversation. Is this an accurate assessment?

Welcome to the forum and the "I can write it most of the time but I can't speak it yet" club. I've been a member for some time.

This may be totally off-base, but I need to visually construct the sentence before I can say it. That makes my conversation very slow, but reasonably accurate. I hope the tempo of this process will improve in time.

This forum has many skilled language teachers. Maybe they can help or correct me if I am wrong in the process. That's where I am now.

Hope that helps!

If you can remember me, te, se, me, te, se, me, te, se......

and nos, os, se, nos, os, se, nos, os, se...... You need to learn these sounds

Using the verb levantarse as an example, look at the conjugation table below. Can you see the 1st, 2nd and 3rd person singular? Then the 1st, 2nd and 3rd person plural?

Hopefully this table shows you where they fit......

me levantonos levantamos
te levantasos levantáis
se levantase levantan
