A straight translation of this term makes it lose its meaning..... Any suggestions?!?

The proper translation, as in career field/subject is "Planificación Estratégica". Business major common term, actually.

Thank you for your response!!! I've been struggling with this one for quite awhile. I'm facilitating a discussion on "Strategic Planning" in Mexico so I want to make the translation something that will have "sentido" en Mexico but, like I mentioned, not lose it's core meaning. I was thinking that maybe, "Planeando Estratégicamente".... What do you think?!?

No problem! " planning strategically" yeah, that would work, and it would still give you your main idea. ;) - LAtINaPunKROcKerAConFundidA, Feb 17, 2011

I see what you mean. Well you could just use the word strategy, estrategia. The site translator also gave me "planeamiento estratégico" wink
