How do you say, "walk around"
Used in this sentence:
In the summer, my husband and I walk around the lake with our dogs. En el verano, my esposo y yo paseamos (por ahi) el lago con nuestros perros.
I'm not sure that paseamos por ahi is the correct phrase.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Caminamos alrededor del lago is perfect.
Dar una vuelta is a common way of saying this, Vamos a dar una vuelta con el perro,

En el verano, mi esposo y yo paseamos por ahi el lago con nuestros perros.
In the summer, my husband and I walk around the lake with our dogs.
Ahí is not necessary. Por ahí means "around there."
When I was walking around a small lake one day with my grandson we happened upon a native Spanish speaker and to my question: How do you say I am walking around the lake? she said "alrededor de la laguna" for around the lake. I forgot what she said for I'm walking.
