Cerebro vs seso

Cerebro vs seso

I am very interested in the subtle differences between words that are apparently synonyms. For example, what is the difference between two spanish words for "brain": cerebro and seso? If I had to guess, I would say cerebro is more like the organ, while seso has a little more to do with "mind". Any ideas on this? Muchas gracias a todos.
