A todos mis amigos, compadres y familiares de Spanishdict, quisiera decirles muchas gracias por su amistad, su cariño, y por esta recepción tan calurosa. Normalmente, no me interesa ni en lo más mínimo que nadie se preocupe por mí, o sea, por darme felicitaciones por cualquiera distinción.

Sin embargo, sus comentarios simpáticos, de verás, me han tocado el corazón en un día en el que la tristeza pesa mucho sobre mi. Es que para mí, hoy ha sido un día algo complicado, pero sus palabras me han ayudado mucho a recuperar un poco de mi equilibrio. Muchas gracias a todos.

Y, como siempre, corrijan mi español, por favor

Wow, Ira!! 50K in reputation means that you've given at least 5,000 pieces of help and advice to those of us trying to learn Spanish. The 476 Badges also show the many ways that you've helped us all, and the 788,000 learning points you've garnared shows how serious you are about learning even more. And the help that you are giving on the Phrasebook is measured nowhere in any of these numbers, so this is a good time for me thank you separately for all of that hard work. SD would not be close to what it is today if you had not been here.
