My husband gave me a cactus for Valentine's Day the year before we got married. I unwrapped it and asked, "Do you have any anger issues that you need to discuss?"
He said that he wanted to get me "something different," and that it was a co-worker's idea. His friend got one for his girlfriend, too, and apparently she loved it.
I told him to stick with red roses in the future.

Unfortunately, I don't have any horrible Valentine's Day stories to report. So, I thought I'd post this nice romantic photo for you all instead. I tried to post it as large as I could for your enjoyment.
Enjoy!

Jaja, one Valentine's Day I had two girlfriends (of which I regret), and then I got so drunk that I called one thinking that she was the other and everything fell down, they met at my school and I was dumped by both, I cried a lot jaja, I've never had two girls at the same time since that day, it was horrible.

Feel free to correct my English. ![]()
My friend and my colleague Sowmya got married on last Valentine's day and she is blessed with a girl baby on this Valentine's day..
Isn't this Romantic!!!!!
I had been dating a guy for a few weeks and just before Valentine's Day he broke up with me. To pick up my spirits a guy friend and I went to a party which was a disaster. My birthday was a few days later and I went out with a guy who was great looking but a jerk. Bad , bad, bad! Fortunately, I went to another party a month later for St. Patrick's Day. There I met a guy who was very silly and too young for me. When he asked me out I said yes just to have some fun. That was 18 years ago. He's still silly but I married him anyway.
Ok Nicole, you twisted my arm....
a certain person who I knew (once upon a time) had an 'ex' husband who married his girlfriend on ....V...V.....V....valentine's day!!!
Not a horrible story, but Valentine's Day is actually my ex-husband's birthday. He narrowly missed being called Valentine.....
My son, whose birthday was 3 days ago, said he wishes he had that birthday and that I'd called him Valentine. You can't win, eh?
Nunca es tarde cuando la dicha llega.
Hang in there. It's never too late for love!
No Valentinessssssss .... since 7 years! oooooooooch!
Marriage burried Love..
But not all of it... because my Son's birthday is today... (14 Feb)!!! and I am celebrating it with a red heart Cake!!! Lovely!
A Thoughtful Valentine's Day Gift
Jim asked his friend, Tony, whether he had bought his wife anything for Valentine's Day.
'Yes,' came the answer from Tony who was a bit of a chauvinist, 'I've bought her a belt and a bag.'
'That was very kind of you,' Jim added, 'I hope she appreciated the thought.'
Tony smiled as he replied, 'So do I, and hopefully the vacuum cleaner will work better now.'

This concept is much more prevalent than we realize:

How about a couple of Lichtensteins? ![]()

My most disappointing Valentine was when I sent my boyfriend of almost a year a lovely card and all he said was "thank you". No card from him, nothing. When I told him about my disappointment weeks later, he bought me a single rose as we just passed a flowershop.
Su primero día de San Valentín fue el más peor. ¡Pero el año próximo, ten cuidado chicas!
His first Valentines day was the worst. But next year, watch out girls!
