Does anyone have any certain knowledge of the phrase to use? Agujero talador? Thanks if anyone has some knowledge of this.

Thank you to both who answered. The question was, what is the proper term to call a drill-hole as would be used in a drilling contract. I appreciate the feedback. - Fannie - Fannie, Feb 13, 2011

Perforar un pozo is to drill a well. A contract with a driller for a well is Un contrato para perfora un pozo.

Take at look at this model contract:

I have no idea how to post a link in this site. cut and paste this if you want.

If it´s oil, Pozo de petróleo

If it´s water or a mine shaft, simply Pozo

These expressions are used during the drilling and after the holes are complete.

It´s also possible that there is an industry expression such as Hoyo de taladrar but I´m not sure.

Just use Contrato de or Contrato de hacer in front of the expression you decide to use.
