"However" far away?

Como se dice "however far away?" I see in the definition of "however" that the word "como" is used to express degree; so would you say, "como lejos?" I'm thinking of the lyrics to the Clash song, in which they say, "However far away, I will always love you." So... "[However] lejos, siempre te voy a amar"? Gracias!

in that context it means '' Aunque estes lejos, siempre te voy a amar''
