what is the fish called panga in spanish translated into english

Apparently different regions use the word panga for different fish.

The fish is named for the glow or iridescence exhibited in juveniles, as well as the shark-like appearance of this and other other shark catfish. It is also known as Siamese shark or sutchi catfish in the aquarium hobby or as tra, swai (from Thai ??????? "plaa sawaaj"), or striped catfish in the food fish market, and occasionally incorrectly as basa and panga (these names should be rather used for Pangasius bocourti and Pterogymnus laniarius, respectively).
So what you call it in English depends on which scientific name refers to the particular panga that you are talking about.
