Me estoy haciendo viejo?
Why does this mean..... I'm getting old? Why getting from haciendo? There, and also poniendo works? Why? Gracias.

It´s just the correct use of hacerse meaning to turn into.
Other examples:
Se está haciendo de noche.
Tu hija se está haciendo mujer ![]()
Hacerse has other meaning, like to behave like, to simulate:
Algunas personas se hacen las cultas.
Aquél hombre se hace el tonto, pero no lo es.
Es lo mismo. Sólo que Me estoy haciendo viejo es un poco más bonita que Me estoy poniendo viejo. Es sólo porque la primera frase no se usa tanto, entonces suena menos trivial y más sofisticada.
I agree with usarenzo, although the most sophisticated/proper way is Me estoy envejeciendo.
Even though estarse doesn't make sense in this sentence, shouldn't it be estoy haciendome?
"Haciéndome" is exactly the same thing as "me estoy haciendo"
"mueriéndome" - "me estoy muriendo"
"Cayéndome" - "me estoy cayendo"
"Durmiéndome" - me estoy durmiendo".
Different constructions, both perfectly correct, both mean exactly the same thing.
