About what. i.e. What do we need to talk about.
de que ? ¿De qué? ? About what? (What do we need to talk about?)
In Spanish, to say that you are talking about something, you use the preposition de, as in: Hablamos de algo ? We are talking about something.
Understanding this might help make the construction a bit more understandable.
Jajaja..."We need to talk" in any language means "There is something about your character or behavior that I need to correct for you!"
Hay algo en su carácter o comportamiento que yo necesito corregir para tú.
