When to use "Me gusta"

When to use "Me gusta"

I have learned that "me gusta" is "I like" (for something), but someone told me that this is improper to use when referring to someone. Is this true and if it is then what do I use when referring to "I like a person"?

Te pongo algunos ejemplos: Me gusta tu hermana.

Me gusta el color de tu pelo.

Me gusta la vecina del sexto.

Me gusta la cajera del Mac Donalds.

Me gusta tu mirada.

Me gusta tiene un matiz más sexual que me cae bien

Caerme bien. Si alguien me cae bien,no quiere decir que me guste fisicamente:

Ej: Mi abuela me cae bien.

Mi jefe me cae bien.

caer bien is one option. We have some previous threads on substitutes for when the subject is people rather than objects.
