Especialmente para suyo

Vamos a hacer problemas para los niños. Especialmente para suyo, comisario. Or is it suyos, or is it wrong,

We're gonna make some trouble for the kids. Especially for yours constable. Is dificultades better than problemas there or is it all wrong./

"Para el suyo" - For yours.

That sounds very wrong to me.

Vamos a hacer problemas para los niños. = We are going to make (maths) problems for the kids. This is a strange sentence! Unless it means that, it should have said something like "Vamos a hacerles las cosas difíciles a los niños".

The second one should say "para el suyo", if it is one child, or "para los suyos" if it is many.

For yours & para suyo don't sound right. "Problemas" is OK, imo.

As you may well know, suyo means yours (usted) or theirs. In your sentence, I suggest you replace suyo w/ usted.

Why is problemas math problems? If I say "tengo problemas" it doesn't mean math homework right? So why math problems there? Difficult things is better for, problems if you make problems for someone else? Gracias.

"Vamos a hacer problemas", for a native, means let's work on school assignments - most logically math or physics problems. I am sure because obviously Lazarus thought the same thing I did, and we speak Spanish from different regions. - Gekkosan, Feb 9, 2011

"VAmos a crear problemas" or "vamos a meter en problemas" are better choices for "We're gonna make trouble for 'em kids", which seems to be what's happening on your show. - Gekkosan, Feb 9, 2011
