The stress should be on the last syllable (the word ends in a consonant and no tilde).
- Aguda - Words that end in a consonant other than 'n' or 's' should be stressed on the last syllable. About 1/3 of all Spanish words are agudas, including all infinitives.
The dictionary in this page uses a famous text-to-speech software that uses pre-recorded syllables from native speakers, but it is still not perfect. You are right, nevertheless: that "fan" syllable is over-pronounced, even though "til" is also stressed. It sounds like two words rather than one (infán...til). The correct stressing should only highlight "til".
They are pronouncing it in FAN til in this show (áquila roja) from Spain. Also, our dictionary seems to be just pronouncing all three syllables equally. IN FAN TIL. Useless. Though I see what you are saying, I would say it is aguda if I hadn't heard them pronouncing it this way, sometimes I wish a native lived here.
