Insuflar? I don't understand this word

From our dictionary: Insuflar = Insufflate. I hate you SD dictiionary. wink From the RAE = Introducir en un órgano o en una cavidad un gas, un líquido o una sustancia pulverizada.

From the story I am reading: Los altavoces colocados en las cuatro equinas de la plaza difundían la vida y obra de los ayacuchanos ilustres como parte de la compaña del Ministerio de la Presidencia para insuflar valores patrios a la provincia.

The loudspeakers high in the four corners of the plaza spread the life and work of the illustrious ayacuchanos (??) as part of the Ministry of the Presidency (?/) in order to (artificially inflate) patriotic values en the province.

What do you think? Artificially inflate is my best guess.

In this case it would be figurative, as in "instill a sense of", or something to that effect. smile
