How do you add an image to your question?

I have answered a question about the ´word of the day´. I wanted to add an image that I had saved to my computer however, I am no sure how to do this. Any help will be much appreciated.

You can use an H T M L image statement, but the easiest way is to use the icon shown below and paste in the URL of the image. The image that you have on your computer will have to be uploaded to an image host site, file host site, a web site, a blog or wherever. It must be linked to online. You cannot upload directly from your computer to this site [except for avatar photos].
