Antes de llegar a su puerta, el ataque se agravó, ingresando el susodicho en el domicilio de su vecino Nemisio..... (41) para descansar antes de retomar los quince metros faltantes hasta la puerta de su dimicilio.

Before arriving at his door, the attack worsened, joining the abovementioned en the house of his neighbor Nemisio in order to rest before taking up again the last 15 meters until the door of his residence.

I'm sure joining is wrong. Gracias.

Según afirma...... (threw that in there because I'm nor sure about it either) (Según lo que afirma) can según always have in implied (what) in it?

I can see you still hate the DRAE:

ingresar.

4. intr. Entrar en un lugar.

Well that's easy but sometimes it's harder and a defintion itself is full of words I don't understand. - jeezzle, Feb 7, 2011

verb neuter 1. To enter, to come in. (n) Ingresar en una sociedad -> to join a club Ingresar en el hospital -> to be admitted to hospital

I've been coming across ingresar a bit lately and in some cases it seems to me to mean fairly close to 'include/including' as in 'taking in', 'encompassing'. But that's just my take, no facts behind it lol.
