Como se dice 'blend' as in haircut.

If you opt for a short back and sides, let's say a number two, you can either leave a big step as if your mum has shoved a bowl on your head and cut around it, or you can cut the non-shaved hair so as it blends.

I'm thinking graduar. Anything more industry-specific?

In English I would probably use the word "transition", but I don't see a Spanish verb for it.

My barber normally used the word "taper". (adelgazar..used more for slimming down but can mean the other context too)

Ah, I've heard taper used the the shape of the back of the cut - square or tapered. I'll probably just ask the barber next time I'm there though I hardly understood a word said by the last guy who cut me, I think he was talking street or something... - afowen, Feb 7, 2011
