Believe it or not, this is the Spanish title for "Rain man". When two brothers meet. So meet is encontrarSE and needs the SE? So without SE it would just be find? Seems a bit less than revealing in our dictionary. You could also use reunir? Like, Cuando dos hermanos se reúnen? What other words could you use? Are these it? Gracias.

It needs to be reflexive or it would mean find instead of meet. Reunirse is an excellent choice.
Juntarse is another one that comes to mind.
