Use of all capitals

Use of all capitals

SpanishDict's parser for all capitals is very unforgiving. It will not allow for an abbreviation as simple as IBM or SIM card to be input without tagging it as shouting. Can you please look into that and set some more relaxed rules?

Thanks!

Agreed. I just wrote a comment to a post, and used capitals on two words instead of underlining them. The comment was rejected, and I didn't bother to write it again.

I've found myself having to writ O V N I instead of ovni in capitals, for this very reason. I don't think this restriction should be applied to people who have a minimum reputation for their contributions in the forum.

I agree. I tried to use the acronnm D E L E, but it would only take it if I wrote it with the word exam, as in DELE exam.

I found it odd that I could write DELE exam, but not D E L E website or the D E L E. - happyquilter, Feb 9, 2011

El software no va a cambiar, así que mi sugerencia es adoptar una de las alternativas sugeridas. - Gekkosan, Feb 10, 2011
