How best to order one of my favorite sandwich toppings? I've been given too many translation responses: pimientos banana, pimientos plátanos, pimientos del banana, and el plátano salpica. ???? ----thanks much.

I don't know, but I do know that platano means plantain, not banana. Banana is actually the word for banana. Cool, huh?

There are so many kinds of pepper and they have so many names that you might be best off describing it as a ''long, fairly mild yellow pepper.''
