So far I have been unable to locate any information on math terms in spanish. I've found that " dos y dos son cuatro", and " tres menos dos es uno".But that's about it .I'd like to learn how to say (and calculate ) simple problems with division and multiplication also. Thanks .

-Echo's vocabulary is great, is useful for me too.

Wow! How did you run across such a terrific page. I wonder if there are other such unofficial but useful "mini-dictionaries" ..surely there are. Now I will look for them. - Janice, Feb 5, 2011

Wikipedia does have quite a good overview of mathematical symbols and how they are pronounced ("se lee como"). It contains the basic symbols as well as some more advanced ones. It might be helpful.

If you need the vocabulary for more advanced mathematics, such as abstract algebra, calculus, topology, or analysis, there are pdf textbooks in Spanish that can be downloaded for free if you look around.
