Bilberry, Blueberry, mantequilla ?

Bilberry, Blueberry, mantequilla ?

I was looking up Bilberry and was surprised to find that one Spanish translation is mantequilla.

So Bilberry is also known as European blueberry, whortleberry, and a few other names.

But mantequilla in Spanish has several English translations:

butter

blueberry

bilberry, whortleberry

Does anyone know other ways mantequilla is used throughout the Spanish speaking world?

[I'm having a bilberry tea, right now]

The scent is similar to blueberry, and the flavor is mildly bitter. - pesta, Feb 4, 2011
