I'd like to know how you would say to get by ie, I speak enough Spanish to get by or I have enough money to get by ?

I cannot resist humming in my head... "I get by with a litle help from my friends, mmm... I get by..." Nice question;) - Foxie, Feb 4, 2011

Maybe llevo/tengo suficiente dinero para sobrevivir. You could use bastante too. Hablo bastante español para comunicarme.

You can also say Hablo suficiente español para mantenerme or ...... para sobrevivir.

If you want to emphasize only to get by, sólo para .........

Tengo suficiente dinero ..............

When I am asked if I speak Spanish, my old standby is "poquito" ~ even less than "un poco" ~ that way I have informed the other party my grasp of Spanish is very limited! cheese
