I'd like to know how you would say to get by
ie, I speak enough Spanish to get by or I have enough money to get by ?

Maybe llevo/tengo suficiente dinero para sobrevivir. You could use bastante too. Hablo bastante español para comunicarme.
You can also say Hablo suficiente español para mantenerme or ...... para sobrevivir.
If you want to emphasize only to get by, sólo para .........
Tengo suficiente dinero ..............
When I am asked if I speak Spanish, my old standby is "poquito" ~ even less than "un poco" ~ that way I have informed the other party my grasp of Spanish is very limited! ![]()
I think it is Para salir adelante, I am almost sure but let's wait for more answers. ![]()
