You've been reading a dentistry text... from what century? No one believes that ancient myth since the 18th century. Dental decay is caused by the by-products of several bacteria like the streptococcus mutans. Anyone, if you want to talk about history of ancient civilizations, "gusano de los dientes", llamado también "neguijón".

Maybe Yen's gusano dental can "hang out" with my "tenia solitaria" and discuss human infestations. ;o) - cristalino, Feb 3, 2011

I would like it translated into English if that's at all possible.

Wait, I don't understand. The question is in English, right? I think you are making the funny jokes, then? - webdunce, Feb 3, 2011
