Well, the movie may have bad dubbing, but "una vez allí" does mean "once there"? Gracias.

Edit: Why wouldn't he be "era uno de nosotros" He was an office worker put in a deathbox, so they were like "he was one of US" he shouldn''t be in there, not like in the army where it might be, one of OURs." Los nuestros for sure and not nosotros?

Edit 2: Would "No, Una vez allí es uno de ellos." be understood even if less correct than with convertir? I think they said "No, Una vez allí es uno de ellos." maybe, to keep it shorter? I don't know.
