Does anyone know if there is a way to get the áéíóúñ¿ - to show up? Is it within the Word program itself under a certain option or tool? gulp gulp

Check out Vikingo, it is a simple program that uses the Windows key for accents. It works great.

You can just put it on your computer by changing the settings (that way, it'll work on the internet, too)

Go to:

  • Start Menu

  • Control Panel

  • Regional and Language Options

  • Click on "Languages" Tab

  • Click on "Details" in the "Text to services...." section ** Click on "Add" in the "Installed Services" section

  • Make sure it says "English (United States) in the "Input Language" drop-down list

  • Check the "Keyboard layout/IME" box

  • Select "United States - International"

  • Press "OK"

  • You should see a little keyboard icon appear either on your desktop, your taskbar, or in its own window; Make sure it's setting is on "United States - International"

I hope this helps smile

Oh... so if this works, to get:

á = a + ' , so ==> a'

é = e'

í = and so on...

and ñ = ~n

Just make sure you put the apostrophe immediately after the letter smile

also: ALT + ? will give you an ¿ (but depending on your type of computer, it will only work with one of your ALT buttons)... same with the ¡ . - Goldie_Miel, Feb 2, 2011

I just change the language to Spanish, and it adds the accents for me. Also you can go onto the "symbol" menu. If you scroll down a bit, you can find accents.
