We would say "Seamos amigos" when that is a group of all males or both males and females.
When everyone in the group is female, "Seamos amigas" will be used.

I believe it would be "seamos amigos." We are friends would be "somos amigos." Ser is the infinitive and it is an irregular verb...You picked a hard one
