It's negative, so I can't be sure of the belief so it's subjunctive? Were it positive, it would be ... Crees que soy digno, indictative. right?

¿No crees que sea digno de María? está perfecto pero significa que la posibilidad de ser digno es menos probable que ¿No crees que soy digno de tí o de lástima?
The negative or positive form has nothing to do with the choice of the subjunctive vs. the indicative in this case.
¿Crees que sea digno de ella? ¿Crees que soy digno de esta distinción que me haces?
