Se apunta con una pistola... Apuntar también puede tomar la preposición a... Apuntó la pistola al fugitivo y le pegó un tiro.
Apuntar con ---> to specify the weapon that was used to aim at
Apuntar a ---> refers to the object or person being aimed at
Apuntar can also be used without a preposition. Mira bien donde apuntas.
