Aquí espera. Does it work like that? Or just esperaté aquí?

Espera aquí is far more common.

Esperá acá, in Argentina

If you are in commanding mode it should be " Espérate aqui".

I corrected the accent.

Hmmm. I think so too but this show maybe is from somewhere wierd. If I said "Aquí espera" you think it would be understood? I usually say "Esperaté aqui" though I think "Esperaté" and "Espera" or both OK to say. Hmmm. Gracias cuates míos.

you could say Aquí espera to emphasize the fact that he has to stay ´here´ and not ´there´--> Aquí espera [no allí]. But it´s not common. - mediterrunio, Jan 29, 2011
