No importa o no importante?
No importa o no importante?
In my book,it says no importa, I am confused, why not importante, since importante is adj.

Because "No importa" means "Eso no importa" (That doesn't matter). In Spanish we don't use "no" in front of adjectives or nouns, like in English -"no" is only used with verbs. If you want to use the adjective, you have to say "No es importante", where "no" goes with the verb "ser".
