Can anyone help me with this paragraph?
I have some questions about this paragraph.
1.Los compañeros del tercer y cuarto curso, why it´s curso? why not cursos? Since it´s tercer y cuarto. I think it´s not singular? a 2.Además de los del posgrado. Can I say además de los posgrados?
3.Quise, but I think , since it is Yo , junto con una veintena del primer y segundo curso, so,I think it´s not singular, not only me,but also have student from other grades. So I think it's quisimos. Am I wrong?
4.Como tengo un vocabulario todavía muy limitado. Can I say Como tengo los vocabularios todavía muy limitados? Because it can´t be only one word, it´s lots words.

Here is my crack at it:
1) It could be that the del tercer y cuarto curso is simply a neater way of writing del tercer curso y cuarto curso. Rather than needing to pluralise curso, it is infact correct in the singular, pertaining only to the word cuarto, the word curso is implied to follow tercer but left out for efficiency. I'd see no problem in writing from the third and fourth course in English.
2) I think that posgrado pertains to a postgraduate course rather than the students.
3) Quise - the author is only talking about his/herself - I wanted to go with them.
4) Vocabulary is the collective noun for a group of words. You might say vocabularies if you were talking about your English vocabulary and your Spanish vocabulary.
Afowen's answer is right on the money... I just had an additional comment:
Quise ir a asistir is redudant ... It should say quise ir o quise asistir.. If asistir is meant to be used as to help, then ayudar should have been used instead to avoid ambiguity.
